Persian ironwood
Thick, wavy-edged rich green leaves turn a brilliant yellow, then orange and fiery-red in autumn. Spider-like red flowers appear in late winter and early spring before the leaves. This spreading tree, short-trunked has peeling grey and fawn bark.
