Spectacular red, brush-like flowerspikes are borne from June to July on this superb rounded shrub with narrow, dark green leaves. It makes an eye-catching specimen plant for a sunny border or in a pot on the patio. In frost prone areas it's best grown in a container in a cool greenhouse or conservatory.
